Proven to save lives. Our screening helps catch lung cancer early, before symptoms start.

Lung cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer in the United States and the leading cause of cancer death. Its symptoms often appear when the cancer is advanced and more challenging to successfully treat. However, a low-dose CT scan works to detect lung cancer earlier and with low exposure to radiation.

Eligible participants

Our Low-Dose CT Lung Screening is available for high-risk individuals with a long history of smoking. To be eligible, you must be between the ages of 55 and 77 with 30 or more pack years of cigarette smoking or meet the specific criteria set by your insurance plan.

Having 30 pack years is equivalent to smoking:

  • 2 packs per day for 15 years
  • 1 pack per day for 30 years
  • 1/2 pack per day for 60 years

Former smokers who meet the above criteria and have quit within the last 15 years are eligible for the screening. If you do not meet the criteria but are concerned about your risk for lung cancer, please speak to your primary care provider.

All-inclusive screening

Our lung cancer screening is a comprehensive service for your preventive health. Most insurance plans cover this procedure as a preventive service benefit. Our experts will work with you to determine if your plan includes coverage.

Expert consultation, screening & explanation of results

Unlike many other lung screening programs, participants in our program receive two full consultations from our highly trained and supportive health care team. The pre-screening consultation will discuss the risks and benefits of the screening prior to undergoing the test, while the post-screening consultation will go over your results. This way you won’t be faced with fear or confusion by receiving your results in the mail. Rather, our skilled providers explain your results in person and are ready to answer all of your questions.
